Sam Lee Mohan is a highly accomplished energy executive with over 25 years of extensive experience in Energy and Carbon Markets. Currently serving as a Senior Commercial Specialist at S&P Global, Sam is recognised as an expert in Energy Transition, leveraging his deep industry knowledge to drive sustainable solutions.

His diverse experience encompasses various facets of the energy sector, including design and construction, business administration, strategic asset management, regulation, policy, commercial operations, and innovation. Prior to joining S&P Global, Sam held the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Frontier Energy, where he was pivotal in formulating the company's overall strategy and successfully executed engineering and permitting processes, capital raises, and mergers and acquisitions.

Before his tenure at Frontier Energy, Sam was the Global Head of Hydrogen at Xodus Group, a subsidiary of Subsea7. In this capacity, he developed and led the company's comprehensive hydrogen strategy, including the conceptualization of Project MercurHy, the largest hydrogen initiative undertaken by the company.

Sam’s career also includes six years at ATCO Gas, where he played a crucial role in shaping the company's Renewables and Hydrogen strategy. He was instrumental in the design and construction of Australia's first Green Hydrogen Microgrid, the Clean Energy Innovation Hub, showcasing his commitment to advancing renewable energy solutions.

Sam holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, further underscoring his dedication to professional excellence in the energy sector.
